Besma's Salad
You can change this recipe up a bit by pre-fermenting the vegetables with Shiokoji or Kombucha.
Ingredients
- 1 large lettuce
- 1 small red onion
- 3-4 spring onions
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 cucumber
- 1 tsp fresh chopped parsley
- 1 tsp fresh chopped coriander leaves
- Dressing 15 mls of olive oil/5 mls mustard/5 mls honey/5 mls lemon juice/salt
Method
- Chop the lettuce into thin strips
- Chop the red onion and spring onion into small pieces
- Chop tomato and cucumber into small cubes
- Add chopped parsley and coriander leaves
- Combine dressing ingredients and whip together using a fork
- Stir dressing into salad
- Enjoy!
