Burgers

Why buy burgers when you can make them so easily? You can add different spices of your choice. For phase I, be sure to use fresh herbs and spices. Also for phase I you could omit the flour and use something else, like a small boiled and mashed, potato or sweet potato to bring the mix together.
As we are pre-fermenting the burgers, you won't have any microbes in the finished burger.
Ingredients
- 500 gm minced meat
- 1 tsp Shiokoji
- 1 tsp mixed herbs
- 1 egg
- 1 dessert spoon of plain flour
- 1/2 finely chopped onion
- A pinch of salt and pepper
Method
- Mix the meat and Shiokoji together, cover and leave for 4-12 hours.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and combine well.
- Make into burger patties
- Place on greased sheet and bake in a moderately hot oven under brown.
