Pre-fermented fennel, pok choi and ginger stir fry

This is stir fry makes a refreshing dish with a ginger giving it a Chinese feel. 

Ingredients

  • 1-2 Pok Choi
  • 1 Fennel
  • Slice of grated ginger
  • Shake of fish sauce
  • 2 tsp brown sugar or raw cane sugar
  • 1 tsp Shiokoji
  • 1/2 tsp of hot chilli pepper
  • 1 tsp mixed herbs
  • Salt and pepper
  • Coconut oil for frying

Method

  1. Chop the Pok Choi and fennel into slices and add the grated ginger
  2. Add the Shiokoji, fish sauce, chilli pepper and sugar and marinade for 4-12 hours.
  3. Stir fry the Pok Choi and fennel using the coconut oil, to your desired crunchiness/softness, adding the herbs, salt and pepper.
  4. Enjoy!
