Osteoporosis IV
In this topic I will be explaining how micronutrients fit into bone. I promise that they'll be more than just calcium.
When most people think of bone health, they immediately think of calcium and vitamin D. But there is so much more to it than that. For example, all the fat soluble vitamins - A, D, E and K are required for good bone health. You need to be eating good fats to be able to absorb these vitamins. This means that good bone requires you to eat good fat - check out the Fats module for more about good fats but tune in here to find out more about the important vitamins and minerals you'll need for healthy bones. I also answer the calcium question. Do we really need it for healthy bones? Or can it be causing you harm?
