Understand how to ferment and why you need to ferment.

I've put this module together because I wanted to bring all the 'bits and pieces' from the webinars in one place and to make sure that you have a thorough understanding of the fermentation process. Introduction to fermentation 1 and 2 go through the theory of fermentation. For thousands of years traditional societies fermented their foods. Japan is a nation of fermenters and at the same time they are one of the longest lived nations on earth. Science is only just beginning to catch with its understanding of this. I present the information that I can find that attempts to explain why eating fermented foods is so essential.

Especially now that we live in a toxin laden world, where our food, air and water contains toxins, we really need to understand the importance of fermentation. Fermented foods not only keep us healthy but they help to detoxify toxins as well. 

After the introductory modules I will add specific topics that deal with different types of ferments. For these, there will be a theory video followed by a video that shows you how to practically do the ferment.
